De acordo com o TV Line, a emissora ABC encomendou a 2ª temporada completa de Station 19, série derivada de Grey’s Anatomy. Com isso, esse segundo ano da série passará a ter 22 episódios e não apenas os 13 anteriormente confirmados.

O spin-off se ambienta na décima nona corporação de bombeiros, localizada em Seattle, compartilhando do mesmo universo de Grey’s Anatomy. A série mostrará o Dr. Ben Warren abandonando sua vida como cirurgião para se tornar um bombeiro.
