How to Get Away with Murder não apenas está voltando para a 5ª temporada, como também estará contando com um personagem misterioso. A nova figura será interpretada por Timothy Hutton, de The American Crime.

De acordo com o TV Line, os detalhes da trama para o próximo ano estão sendo mantidos sob sigilo. No entanto, sabe-se que mais outros dois atores aparecerão como personagens regulares do seriado. Trata-se de Amirah Vann, que interpreta a advogada Tegan Price, e Romeo Flynn, o misterioso estudante Gabriel.
