O diretor Phil Johnson revelou que um retorno importante vai acontecer em WiPhi Ralph: Quebrando a Internet, que continua o elogiado Detona Ralph, de 2012.

De acordo com o diretor (via LRM), o ouriço Sonic estará de volta na continuação. O icônico velocista já tinha aparecido no primeiro filme, ajudando a esclarecer dúvidas e oferecer exposição.

Na trama, Ralph vai deixar o mundo isolado dos videogames para se conectar com a internet, de forma que poderão encontrar personagens mais variados e viajar por mundos bem diferentes. É esperado que as princesas da Disney também apareceram de forma diferente no filme.
